What is Counselling?

Counselling can be a place where you can get the support you need to deal with the issues which are important to you.

During difficult times you may feel like you have nowhere to turn, you may feel like your friends and family just don't 'get' how you feel or that you don't want to 'burden' them with your worries.

This is common.

Difficult times affect everyone in different ways and I understand how hard this can be.

If you just need someone to talk to, I can do that.

You can expect a quiet, comfortable, confidential safe and relaxed space, whether online or face to face, where your well-being is of the up-most importance.

We can begin by developing and nurturing a therapeutic relationship built from trust and respect.

You decide what we discuss, so you are always in control.

Depending upon the issue and yourself depends upon how many sessions you will want.

Some clients will need 6 sessions, some more.

I will spend some time with you talking about your expectations regarding how many sessions you want and through discussion you will both agree upon a time scale.
