Understanding the world of our clients is so important when counselling.

That's why Rachel has spent the last 9 months studying at Post graduate level, being taught by Dr. Luke Beardon along with several autistic speakers to gain her qualification and enable her to be confident in her therapeutic work with autistic clients.

Training for all health and social care staff is already compulsory under the Autism Act, but to what level depends on where you are in the country, so the government is asking your opinions on the level, delivery and content of that training in an attempt

to make it all the same wherever you are.
